The April 2019 meeting of the Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association was staged in conjunction with GreenFest 2019 at Downtown Summerlin on April 20th from 10 AM to 5 PM, where the LVEVA staged two exhibit booths within the Clean Energy Drive Zone:
The electric car part of the event was also staged in conjunction with the national Drive Electric Earth Day campaign led by the Electric Auto Association, Sierra Club and Plug-in America.

An electric car rally staged prior to the GreenFest 2019 event at 9:30 AM in the parking lot of Las Vegas Cyclery.
Just before 10 AM, about 20 plug-in electric cars formed into a caravan to drive together to Downtown Summerlin to kickoff the GreenFest 2019 celebration.
GreenFest 2019 was the largest Earth Day celebration in the Las Vegas valley this year, with 100 exhibit booths, a Beer Garten, Kids Zone, live music, entertainment, food, and lots of family-friendly experiences.
Sherry Swensk from KLAS-TV 8 News Now was the emcee of this year’s GreenFest 2019. As part of her Living Green lifestyle video segment prior to the event, she put together a wonderful news piece that featured electric cars and the four ChargePoint EVSE stations (dual-port and single-port J1772 AC Level 2) that were installed inside Downtown Summerlin’s North Parking Garage on Level P1.
The North Parking Garage has seven dedicated parking spaces for plug-in electric car charging while the South Parking Garage has two dedicated spaces.

The Clean Energy Drive Zone within GreenFest 2019 featured plug-in electric cars from local Las Vegas valley automotive dealerships.
2019 models included the Karma Revero from Karma Las Vegas, Porsche Panamera S e-hybrid from Gaudin Porsche, Jaguar I-PACE from Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas, a Chevrolet Bolt EV and Chevrolet Volt from Findlay Chevrolet and an Audi e-tron from Audi Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association booth featured a Nissan LEAF provided by LVEVA President Lloyd Reece, a Zero electric motorcycle owned by Ed Malkiewicz, and a BMW i3 provided by Sol-Up.
EVSE charging station distributor Verdek exhibited a ChargePoint J1772 AC Level 2 station with dual-port plug connectors.
